Stephanie Bell
Paralegal/Office Manager
I never expected to fall in love with law, but a college internship with Elizabeth changed my course. My passion has always been for helping people, and it was natural when I made the switch in college from pursuing nursing to law.
Ten years working at Hyatt Law flew by quickly and I am glad to help people through terribly difficult times. I went through a divorce myself and while no one expects to need a divorce attorney or legal help for a custody suit, I am glad that I can help make the process as easy as possible for our clients.
I have two wonderful children, age 23 & 16, and have seen the whole continuum of single parenting, and raising kids with ADD and special education plans as both a parent, and as a paralegal. It was hectic to go through, but it all feels so worth it now when I spend time with my granddaughter!
Not all of our clients leave our offices divorced either. We help families get help where they need it, and that might be counseling, co-parenting classes, or other ways to create a friendship as you develop a healthy relationship together.
This isn't a carbon copy process either, every single person, relationship, and case is unique. I get that it doesn't feel like you could have a good relationship in the beginning, but sometimes its healthier for everyone to not to be together and we work with you to find the best outcome.
I was born & raised in Lancaster and it's been very meaningful for me to be able to assist my community, this work really gives you a sense of purpose. For a people person like myself this job is great, I love interfacing with everyone.
Clients here become family, and we often stay in touch well after the process is over. We get invested in your world, and your success. We're there when you need us, always a phone call away.
